Women & Girls

Logan Metro FC has a proud history of female participation at the club. Off the back of the recent FIFA women’s World Cup, the club has appointed our first ever women and girls coordinator to manage all aspects of female football at LMFC and create more opportunities for females to play football.

Below you will find a brief run down of the female opportunities available in 2024-

Miniroos all girl teams- 4-12 year olds
MiniRoos is designed for kids of all abilities, aged 4 – 11 years. The nationwide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Subway Socceroos or CommBank Matildas.

in 2024 we plan on fielding the following all girls teams-
Under 8’s- born 2016, 2017, 2018
Under 10’s- born 2014, 2015

Girls United Social League-
Our Social league is all about creating fun, social football environments for women and girls to boost their confidence, build fitness and make friends.
Our Girls United Leagues is a social football competition. The leagues offer a more flexible, lower commitment playing format than traditional football over10-week block.
A great option for women who haven’t got the time to commit to the traditional training and game format of club football, or for those who want to build their skills and confidence before moving into a club football team.

Our league will run over term 2 & 3 in2024. With games played on Monday nights.

Coaching, managing, refereeing, volunteering-
Our teams, programs and initiatives don’t run with out dedicated volunteers. The club endeavours to upskill and provide  opportunities for coaches in return for their volunteering like coaching courses paid for.
